RISE with SAP Program Drives City of London’s Transformation

SAP is assisting the Corporation in its transformation journey, which includes a cloud migration using SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition. A deeper understanding of crucial operations like finance, forecasting, and human resources is anticipated as a result of this change. The relocation will also aid in the consolidation of legacy technologies, lower operational expenses, and lessen the burden on resources from manual tasks. The RISE with SAP program’s flexibility permits a phased implementation, starting with human resources up to finance and other departments.

Romane states that the RISE with SAP program aims to produce quantifiable cost savings and enhanced productivity, which is consistent with the City’s objectives of delivering better services at the lowest possible cost. She also underlined how this collaboration aims to assist the Corporation in reaching its Net Zero goals and complements the City’s Climate Action Strategy. Through this project, SAP is demonstrating its commitment to social value through a number of initiatives, such as promoting digital literacy, helping out small businesses in the community, and giving young people opportunities to advance their digital skills.

The head of the digital services committee at the City of London Corporation, Dawn Wright, is positive about the effects of the new HR and finance system.
